Commencement Proclamation

under the

Fines Amendment Act 2019 No 13

I, the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Fines Amendment Act 2019, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 July 2020 as the day on which that Act, except Schedule 1[2], [5]–[7], [56] and [57], commences.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the Fines Amendment Act 2019 on 1 July 2020, except for certain amendments that relate to early enforcement arrangements.
