Commencement Proclamation

under the

Transport Administration Amendment (Transport Entities) Act 2017 No 12

I, the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Transport Administration Amendment

(Transport Entities) Act 2017, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 July 2020 as the day on

which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the uncommenced provisions of the Transport

Administration Amendment (Transport Entities) Act 2017, which make amendments to various Acts for the

following purposes—

(a)	to convert Rail Corporation New South Wales to Transport Asset Holding Entity of New South Wales,
(b)	to provide for the objectives, functions and management of that entity,
(c)	to make amendments of a savings or transitional nature,
(d)	to make related and consequential amendments.
