Commencement Proclamation

under the

Justice Legislation Amendment Act 2019 No 10

MARGARET BEAZLEY, Governor

I, the Honourable Margaret Beazley AO QC, Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2(2) of the Justice Legislation Amendment Act

2019, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 6 December 2019 as the day on which Schedule 1.15

and 1.16 to that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence provisions that amend the Law Enforcement (Powers and

Responsibilities) Act 2002 and regulations made under that Act, enabling applications for notices to produce

documents to be made by email and any other method authorised by the regulations, at all times.
