I, the Honourable Margaret Beazley AO QC, Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2(1) of the Road Transport and Other

Legislation Amendment (Digital Driver Licences and Photo Cards) Act 2018, do, by this my
Proclamation, appoint 28 October 2019 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that

Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence amendments to the Road Transport Act 2013, the Photo

Card Act 2005 and other legislation that provide for the issue and use of digital driver licences and digital

Photo Cards.
