Commencement Proclamation

under the

Dams Safety Act 2015 No 26

I, the Honourable Margaret Beazley AO QC, Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2(1) of the Dams Safety Act 2015, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 November 2019 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence all uncommenced provisions of the Dams Safety Act 2015. No provisions of that Act are currently commenced other than a provision providing for an Interim Dams Safety Advisory Committee.
