under the

Workers Compensation Legislation Amendment Act 2018 No 62

I, The Honourable Margaret Beazley AO QC, Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2(1) of the Workers Compensation Legislation

Amendment Act 2018, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 21 October 2019 as the day on which

Schedule 3 to that Act commences.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence provisions of the Workers Compensation Legislation

Amendment Act 2018 relating to the calculation of pre-injury average weekly earnings of a worker for the

purposes of determining the worker’s entitlement to weekly compensation.
