Commencement Proclamation

under the

Public Works and Procurement Amendment (Enforcement) Act 2018 No 72

I, the Honourable Margaret Beazley AO QC, Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Public Works and Procurement

Amendment (Enforcement) Act 2018, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 29 November 2019 as

the day on which that Act (except for Schedule 1[5]) commences.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the Public Works and Procurement Amendment

(Enforcement) Act 2018, except for a provision that amends an uncommenced provision to be inserted by

the Modern Slavery Act 2018.
