Commencement Proclamation

under the

Ageing and Disability Commissioner Act 2019

I, the Honourable Margaret Beazley AO QC, Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (2) of the Ageing and Disability

Commissioner Act 2019, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 July 2019 as the day on which

Part 4 of and Schedule 1.1 [1] to that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence provisions of the Ageing and Disability Commissioner Act

2019 that relate to the Official Community Visitor program that is to be administered by the Ageing and

Disability Commissioner and that make related and consequential amendments.
