under the

Justice Legislation Amendment Act (No 3) 2018 No 87

I, The Honourable Margaret Beazley AO QC, Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (2) of the Justice Legislation Amendment Act

(No 3) 2018, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 31 May 2019 as the day on which Schedule 1.2

[1]–[3] to that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence amendments to the Bail Act 2013 that relate to the making of a bail decision in respect of an accused person who has committed a serious indictable offence or serious offence while on bail or parole granted under a law of another jurisdiction.
