under the

Fair Trading Legislation Amendment (Miscellaneous) Act 2018 No 79

I, General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Fair Trading Legislation

Amendment (Miscellaneous) Act 2018, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 28 February 2019 as

the day on which Schedule 1 to that Act commences.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence Schedule 1 to the Fair Trading Legislation Amendment

(Miscellaneous) Act 2018. The Schedule amends the Residential Tenancies Act 2010 to provide

regulation-making powers with respect to a rental bond roll-over scheme.
