under the
Victims Rights and Support Amendment (Statutory Review) Act 2018 No 34

I, General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Victims Rights and
Support Amendment (Statutory Review) Act 2018, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint
14 January 2019 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

| The object of this Proclamation is to commence amendments to the Victims Rights and Support Act 2013 and other legislation, except a provision that authorises the registrar of a court that has given a direction for compensation to provide the offender’s name and address to the victim, as that provision commenced on 1 December 2018. |
