Commencement Proclamation

under the

Health Practitioner Regulation Amendment Act 2017 No 50

DAVID HURLEY, Governor

I, General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Health Practitioner

Regulation Amendment Act 2017, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 December 2018 as the

day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

Explanatory note
The object of this Proclamation is to commence a provision that repeals Part 6A of Chapter 5A of the Health
Services Act 1997, which relates to paramedics. Paramedics will be dealt with under the Health Practitioner
Regulation National Law (NSW) on and from 1 December 2018.
