Commencement Proclamation

under the

Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2018 No 25

DAVID HURLEY, Governor

I, General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, with
the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (2) of the Statute Law
(Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2018, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 24 September 2018 as

the day on which Schedule 1.3 and 1.4 to that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence provisions clarifying the operation of provisions for the purposes of the operation of amendments made by the Crimes (Sentencing Procedure) Amendment

(Sentencing Options) Act 2017.
