under the

Rural Crime Legislation Amendment Act 2017 No 62

I, General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (2) of the Rural Crime

Legislation Amendment Act 2017, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 15 September 2018 as the

day on which Schedule 1.5 to that Act commences.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence an amendment to the Law Enforcement (Powers and

Responsibilities) Act 2002 that allows for the Local Court to make stock mustering orders and provides for

the enforcement of those orders.
