under the

Casino Control Amendment Act 2018 No 8

I, General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Casino Control Amendment Act 2018, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 31 August 2018 as the day on which

Schedule 1 [2]–[12], [14], [15], [20]–[23], [26], [27], [30]–[33], [35]–[39], [41], [42], [50], [51] and [56] to that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence certain provisions of the Casino Control Amendment Act 2018 that deal with the regulation and oversight of operations at the casino and the Barangaroo restricted gaming facility.
