under the

Fair Trading Amendment (Ticket Scalping and Gift Cards) Act 2017 No 52

I, General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Fair Trading Amendment

(Ticket Scalping and Gift Cards) Act 2017, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 31 March 2018

as the day on which Schedule 2 to that Act commences.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence provisions of the Fair Trading Amendment (Ticket Scalping

and Gift Cards) Act 2017 that contain restrictions on the sale of gift cards.
