Commencement Proclamation

under the

Point to Point Transport (Taxis and Hire Vehicles) Act 2016 No 34

I, General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (1) of the Point to Point

Transport (Taxis and Hire Vehicles) Act 2016, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 February

2018 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the remaining uncommenced provisions of the Point to

Point Transport (Taxis and Hire Vehicles) Act 2016, including provisions relating to the passenger service

levy.
