under the

Fisheries Management Amendment Act 2015 No 59

I, the Honourable Justice Margaret Beazley AO, Administrator of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Fisheries Management Amendment Act 2015 No 59, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 6 October 2017 as the day on which Schedule 1 [2] (to the extent that it is uncommenced), [7], [18], [20], [21], [33]–[39], [49], [50], [53], [105], [107], [111], [136], [139], [140], [146]–[151] and [156] of that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence some of the uncommenced provisions of the Fisheries

Management Amendment Act 2015, including amendments relating to fishing determinations, quotas and

the Total Allowable Fishing Committee.
