Commencement Proclamation

under the

Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2016 No 27

I, General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, with
the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (3) and (4) of the Statute Law
(Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2016, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 28 June 2017 as the

day on which clause 2 (a) of Schedule 4 and Schedule 5 to that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the remaining uncommenced provisions of the Statute Law

(Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2016, which repeal the Home Care Service Act 1988 and amend other Acts

and an instrument consequent on the repeal of that Act.
