Commencement Proclamation

under the

Biosecurity Act 2015 No 24

I, General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Biosecurity Act 2015, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 July 2017 as the day on which that Act (other than item [10] of Schedule 8.26) commences.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the whole of the Biosecurity Act 2015 other than a provision which repeals Part 10 of the Local Land Services Act 2013.
