Commencement Proclamation

under the

Health Legislation Amendment Act 2016 No 45

DAVID HURLEY, Governor

I, General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, with
the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (2) of the Health Legislation

Amendment Act 2016, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 January 2017 as the day on which section 3 of that Act commences.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence section 3 of the Health Legislation Amendment Act 2016.
That provision repeals the New South Wales Institute of Psychiatry Act 1964.
