I, General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Criminal Legislation Amendment (Organised Crime and Public Safety) Act 2016, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 29 July 2016 as the day on which Schedule 3 to that Act commences.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence amendments to the Criminal Assets Recovery Act 1990 relating to restraining orders and assets forfeiture orders.
