Commencement Proclamation

under the

Gaming and Liquor Administration Amendment Act 2015 No 56

DAVID HURLEY, Governor

I, General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Gaming and Liquor Administration Amendment Act 2015, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint:

(a)	1 February 2016 as the day on which that Act commences, except as provided by paragraph (b), and
(b)	1 March 2016 as the day on which Schedule 1 [13] to that Act commences.

Explanatory note

This Proclamation commences the Gaming and Liquor Administration Amendment Act 2015 on 1 February 2016 with the exception of an amendment that enables certain persons who are aggrieved by decisions of the Independent Liquor and Gaming Authority to seek administrative review of those decisions by the Civil and Administrative Tribunal of New South Wales. That amendment commences on 1 March 2016.
