Commencement Proclamation

under the

Heavy Vehicle (Adoption of National Law) Act 2013 No 42

I, General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Heavy Vehicle (Adoption of National Law) Act 2013, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 July 2016 as the day on which section 25A of that Act commences.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence section 25A of the Heavy Vehicle (Adoption of National Law) Act 2013. Section 25A authorises the payment of certain amounts into the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator Fund until Chapter 2 of the Heavy Vehicle National Law (NSW) comes into force.
