Commencement Proclamation

under the

Regulatory Reform and Other Legislative Repeals Act 2015 No 48

I, General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (2) of the Regulatory Reform and Other Legislative Repeals Act 2015, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 July 2016 as the day on which section 3 (g) of, and the uncommenced provisions of Schedule 2 to, that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence provisions of the Regulatory Reform and Other Legislative Repeals Act 2015 providing for or relating to the repeal of the Internal Audit Bureau Act 1992. Consequent on the repeal of that Act, Part 8 of Schedule 4 to the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983 dissolves the Internal Audit Bureau of New South Wales.
