Commencement Proclamation

under the

State Insurance and Care Governance Act 2015 No 19

DAVID HURLEY, Governor

I, General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the State Insurance and Care Governance Act 2015, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 6 May 2016 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act (except Schedule 5 [28] to the extent that it amends the definition of required deposit in section 172A (8) of the Workers Compensation Act 1987) commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the uncommenced provisions of the State Insurance and Care Governance Act 2015, except Schedule 5 [28] to the extent that it amends the definition of required deposit in section 172A (8) of the Workers Compensation Act 1987 as the effect of that amendment is duplicated by the amendment contained in Schedule 5 [31].
