Commencement Proclamation

under the

Workers Compensation Amendment Act 2015 No 18

DAVID HURLEY, Governor

I, General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (1) of the Workers Compensation Amendment Act 2015, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 29 April 2016 as the day on which Schedule 4 to that Act commences.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence amendments to the Workers Compensation Act 1987 that provide for compensation for the cost of certain services and assistance provided to injured workers returning to work.
