under the

State Revenue Legislation Further Amendment Act 2014 No 56

I, General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (2) (b) of the State Revenue Legislation Further Amendment Act 2014, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 January 2016 as the day on which Schedule 3 [4] to that Act commences.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence Schedule 3 [4] to the State Revenue Legislation Further Amendment Act 2014 (the Act) which repeals exemptions relating to the payment of payroll tax for contracts under which services are provided solely for or in relation to the procurement of persons desiring to be insured, or for and in relation to the door-to-door sale of goods solely for domestic purposes. All other provisions of the Act have commenced.
