Commencement Proclamation
under the
Court Security Amendment Act 2011 No 15
DAVID HURLEY, Governor
I, General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Court Security Amendment Act 2011, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 30 November 2015 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

| Explanatory note |
| The object of this Proclamation is to commence the uncommenced provisions of the Court Security Amendment Act 2011. These provisions amend the Court Security Act 2005 to extend the powers of arrest of court security officers to persons who are committing, or who have just committed, acts of violence towards other persons in court premises. |
