Commencement Proclamation

under the

Child Protection Legislation Amendment Act 2015 No 29

DAVID HURLEY, Governor

I, General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Child Protection Legislation Amendment Act 2015, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint:

(a)	15 October 2015 as the day on which Schedule 2 [14] and [46] to that Act commence, and
(b)	2 November 2015 as the day on which the remainder of that Act commences.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the Child Protection Legislation Amendment Act 2015 on 2 November 2015, other than provisions relating to the making and withdrawal of applications for working with children check clearances and savings and transitional matters, which commence on 15 October 2015.
