Commencement Proclamation

under the

Marine Safety Act 1998 No 121

DAVID HURLEY, Governor

I, General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Marine Safety Act 1998, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 September 2015 as the day on which Schedule 3.7 [15] to that Act commences.

Explanatory note
The object of this Proclamation is to commence an amendment to the Ports and Maritime Administration Act 1995 to enable regulations to be made to prohibit or regulate the occupation of navigable waters by vessels, floating objects or structures (including the use of moorings in any waters).
