Commencement Proclamation

under the

Pesticides Amendment Act 2015 No 3

DAVID HURLEY, Governor

I, General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (1) of the Pesticides Amendment Act 2015, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint:

(a)	1 September 2015 as the day on which Schedule 1.1 to that Act commences, and
(b)	1 December 2015 as the day on which the other uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The objects of this Proclamation are:

(a)	to commence provisions of the Pesticides Amendment Act 2015 relating to licensing and restricted pesticide authorisations on 1 September 2015, and
(b)	to commence provisions of that Act relating to administration and enforcement on 1 December 2015.
