under the

Public Health (Tobacco) Act 2008 No 94

I, General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, with
the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Public Health (Tobacco)

Act 2008, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 June 2015 as the day on which Schedule 2.4 to

that Act commences.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence an amendment to the Public Health (Tobacco) Act 2008 that repeals an exemption for tobacco advertisements in or on certain packaging from the prohibition on tobacco advertising.
