Commencement Proclamation

under the

Water Industry Competition Amendment (Review) Act 2014 No 57

DAVID HURLEY, Governor

I, General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Water Industry Competition Amendment (Review) Act 2014, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 5 March 2015 as the day on which the following provisions of that Act commence:

(a)	Schedule 1 [63] and [64],
(b)	Schedule 2.2 [1].

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence provisions of the Water Industry Competition Amendment (Review) Act 2014 that relate to certificates of compliance that certify whether the requirements for connection of a particular development to water industry infrastructure have been complied with. This proclamation also commences a provision that provides for the making of regulations containing provisions of a savings or transitional nature.
