Commencement Proclamation

under the

Work Health and Safety (Mines) Amendment Act 2014 No 71

DAVID HURLEY, Governor

I, General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC, Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Work Health and Safety (Mines) Amendment Act 2014, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 3 December 2014 as the day on which that Act (other than Schedule 2) commences.

Explanatory note
The object of this Proclamation is to commence the Work Health and Safety (Mines) Amendment Act 2014 other than amendments consequential on the commencement of the uncommenced Work Health and Safety (Mines) Act 2013.
