Commencement Proclamation
under the
Work Health and Safety (Mines) Act 2013 No 54
DAVID HURLEY, Governor
I, General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC, Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Work Health and Safety (Mines) Act 2013, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 3 December 2014 as the day on which clauses 2 and 17 of Schedule 1 to that Act commence.

| Explanatory note |
| The object of this Proclamation is to commence a provision of the Work Health and Safety (Mines) Act 2013 that validates certain regulatory functions exercised in respect of coal mining lease areas. That validation provision was inserted in the Work Health and Safety (Mines) Act 2013 by the Work Health and Safety (Mines) Amendment Act 2014. This Proclamation also commences a provision that defines a term used in that validation provision. |
