Commencement Proclamation

under the

Cemeteries and Crematoria Act 2013 No 105

DAVID HURLEY, Governor I, General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC, Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Cemeteries and Crematoria Act 2013, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 November 2014 as the day on which that Act (other than section 145, Part 4, clauses 3 and 4 of Schedule 3 and Schedule 6.1 [8], 6.2 [1], [3] and [4] and 6.6 [2]–[4] and [8]) commences.

Explanatory note
The object of this Proclamation is to commence the Cemeteries and Crematoria Act 2013 other than the provisions of Part 4 (Interment rights and cemetery renewal) and related provisions and provisions relating to finance and the application of by-laws to reserve trusts.
