Commencement Proclamation

under the

Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2014 No 33

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor The Honourable Dame Marie Bashir AD CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (2) of the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2014, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 August 2014 as the day on which Schedule 3.33 [1] to that Act commences.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence amendments to the Treasury Corporation Act 1983 to enable the Treasury Corporation to employ staff and to make it clear that provisions of the Government Sector Employment Act 2013 relating to the employment of Public Service employees do not apply to those staff.
