I, Professor The Honourable Dame Marie Bashir AD CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Rural Fires Amendment (Vegetation Clearing) Act 2014, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 August 2014 as the day on which that Act commences.
