Commencement Proclamation
under the
Jury Amendment Act 2010 No 55
MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor The Honourable Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Jury Amendment Act 2010, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 31 January 2014 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

| Explanatory note |
| The object of this Proclamation is to commence the uncommenced provisions of the Jury Amendment Act 2010. These provisions amend the Jury Act 1977 in relation to jurors, including eligibility and selection, and certain information to be supplied to the sheriff in respect of persons proposed to be summoned for jury service. |
