Commencement Proclamation

under the

Courts and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2012 No 60

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor The Honourable Marie Bashir, AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (3) of the Courts and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2012, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 January 2014 as the day on which Schedule 5 to that Act commences.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence an amendment to the Criminal Procedure Act 1986 relating to the payment of court fees in criminal proceedings prosecuted by certain NSW Government agencies and statutory bodies representing the Crown.
