Commencement Proclamation

under the

Primary Industries Legislation Amendment Act 2012 No 89

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (2) of the Primary Industries Legislation Amendment Act 2012, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 September 2013 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the uncommenced provisions of the Primary Industries Legislation Amendment Act 2012. Those provisions amend the Apiaries Act 1985 in relation to beekeeping and requirements for the registration of beekeepers.
