Commencement Proclamation

under the

Radiation Control Amendment Act 2010 No 91

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (2) of the Radiation Control Amendment Act 2010, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 July 2013 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act (except Schedule 1 [5] to the extent that it inserts section 14B (2) and (4) of the Radiation Control Act 1990) commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence most of the uncommenced provisions of the Radiation Control Amendment Act 2010. The only provisions that will remain uncommenced are about security checking.
