Commencement Proclamation

under the

Work Health and Safety Legislation Amendment Act 2011 No 67

THOMAS FREDERICK BATHURST, Lieutenant-Governor I, the Honourable Thomas Frederick Bathurst, Lieutenant-Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (3) of the Work Health and Safety Legislation Amendment Act 2011, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 24 June 2013 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the uncommenced provisions of the Work Health and Safety Legislation Amendment Act 2011. Those provisions amend the Mine Health and Safety Act 2004 and the Coal Mine Health and Safety Act 2002 in relation to the Mining Competence Board.
