Commencement Proclamation

under the

Intoxicated Persons (Sobering Up Centres Trial) Act 2013 No 15

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Intoxicated Persons (Sobering Up Centres Trial) Act 2013, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 24 May 2013 as the day on which that Act (except Part 2) commences.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence all the provisions of the Intoxicated Persons (Sobering Up Centres Trial) Act 2013 other than Part 2 of that Act (being provisions that relate to the detention and transport of intoxicated persons to sobering up centres).
