Commencement Proclamation

under the

City of Sydney Amendment (Central Sydney Traffic and
Transport Committee) Act 2012 No 47

THOMAS FREDERICK BATHURST, Lieutenant-Governor I, the Honourable Thomas Frederick Bathurst, Lieutenant-Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (2) of the City of Sydney Amendment (Central Sydney Traffic and Transport Committee) Act 2012, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 5 October 2012 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence provisions of the City of Sydney Amendment (Central Sydney Traffic and Transport Committee) Act 2012 (the CSTTC) that require certain roads authorities and parking authorities to notify the Central Sydney Traffic and Transport Committee of certain decisions and actions they propose to take and require the Central Sydney Planning Committee to consult the CSTTC before it exercises certain functions.
