Commencement Proclamation

under the

Transport Legislation Amendment Act 2011 No 41

THOMAS FREDERICK BATHURST, Lieutenant-Governor I, the Honourable Thomas Frederick Bathurst QC, Lieutenant-Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Transport Legislation Amendment Act 2011, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 31 March 2012 as the day on which the following provisions of that Act commence:

(a) Schedule 1 [42],

(b)

Schedule 1 [53] to the extent that it inserts clause 5 of Schedule 1 to the Transport Administration Act 1988,

(c) Schedule 3.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the provisions of the Transport Legislation Amendment Act 2011 that relate to the Standard Working Timetable and the abolition of the Transport Construction Authority.
