Commencement Proclamation

under the

Planning Appeals Legislation Amendment Act 2010 No 120

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Planning Appeals Legislation Amendment Act 2010, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 28 February 2011 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the remaining provisions of the Planning Appeals Legislation Amendment Act 2010. Those provisions (Schedules 1 and 3 to that Act) contain amendments to the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, the Environmental Planning and Assessment Amendment Act 2008 and the Independent Commission Against Corruption Act 1988.
