Commencement Proclamation

under the

Identification Legislation Amendment Act 2011 No 45

THOMAS FREDERICK BATHURST, Administrator I, the Honourable Thomas Frederick Bathurst, Administrator of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Identification Legislation Amendment Act 2011, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 November 2011 as the day on which that Act (except Schedule 2.6) commences.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the Identification Legislation Amendment Act 2011, except for the provision of that Act that amends the Oaths Act 1900 to provide for identification procedures to be followed by persons taking or receiving statutory declarations or affidavits.
