Commencement Proclamation

under the

Courts and Other Legislation Further Amendment Act 2011
No 38

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (2) of the Courts and Other Legislation Further Amendment Act 2011, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 17 October 2011 as the day on which Schedule 4 to that Act commences.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence Schedule 4 to the Courts and Other Legislation Further Amendment Act 2011. That Schedule contains amendments to the Victims Support and Rehabilitation Act 1996 relating to the payment of a compensation levy.
